Two persons were arrested for allegedly strangulating a sweet-shop worker at Tota Nagla village here, police said today.
The post-mortem report of Lala (35), who was found hanging from a mango tree last week, said he was strangulated to death and then hanged, SP (City) Rajesh Kumar said.
Two persons, including the husband of a married woman, have been arrested yesterday following a complaint by Lala's brother against three persons in this connection, police said, adding, the third accused is still at large.
The victim had eloped sometime back with a married woman in the village following which he was arrested but was recently released from jail, Kumar said.
