Three others accused in the case, that took place under Baansdeeh police station limits, are absconding, they said.
Prince Tiwari, the prime accused, and Raju Yadav, both residents of Bajha, were arrested yesterday and the knife reportedly used to kill the girl has also been recovered, an Uttar Pradesh police spokesperson said.
"Hunt for the rest of the three accused persons is on," the spokesperson added.
The 17-year-old Ragni Dubey of Bajha village, was on her way to school on bicycle yesterday, when the five men on two motorcycles intercepted her near Shankarpur Bhawani temple and pressured her to talk to them.

On getting the information, her family members reached the spot and rushed her to the district hospital where the doctors declared her dead, the SP said.
The family members have told the police that the victim was being followed by some motorcycle-borne men since the past few days, who had been pressuring her to talk to them, Singh said.
On the complaint of the family, an FIR was filed against the village head, his son, his nephew and two other villagers, the SP added.
