Two held with 5 kg of cannabis in J-K

Two persons were arrested today and over five kg of cannabis were seized from their possession in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir here.
Acting on a specific input a police team laid an surprise check at Birmah Bridge on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway and intercepted an SUV, an official said.
During the checking of the vehicle, five kg of cannabis was seized, the official said.
The two persons arrested were Shajjad Ahamedand Bilal Ahamed. They are residents of the Valley.
