Two held with country made liquor, 10 kg poppy straw in J&K

Two persons have been arrested from Reasi and Ramban districts of Jammu and Kashmir and 220 pouches of country made illicit liquor and over 10 kg poppy straw were recovered from them, police said today.
Parshotam Lal was arrested yesterday after police raided his house in Bhaga area of Reasi district and recovered the contraband, an official said today.
In another incident, a truck driver Ashiq Ali was arrested in Ramban district yesterday and over 10 kg poppy straw was recovered from him, he said.
Police booked Ali under various sections of the NDPS Act and Lal under Excise Act.
