Two held with unaccounted Rs 75 lakh

Two persons were nabbed today for allegedly being in possession of unaccounted cash worth Rs 75 lakh in various denominations at Porvorim near here, police said.
Ramesh Narvekar and Siddhu (full name not known) were taken into custody after they were found in possession of a bag containing the money, police said.
Police found Rs 75 lakh in various valid denominations, including in new Rs 2,000 and Rs 500 notes, stashed in the bag, a police spokesman said.
Police will inform Income Tax department about the seizure for further action.
