Two Indians in quarterfinals in wushu

India began their campaign in wushu competition on a mixed note with two players making it to the quarterfinals while four of them making an early from the Asian Games here today.
Narender Grewal beat Mangal Prasad Tharu of Nepal in 'win by round' verdict in his round of 16 Sanda 60kg contest. The Indian won 2-0.
Grewal take on Abdullah of Pakistan in the quarterfinals on Monday.
Yumnam Sanathoi Devi also made it to the quarterfinal round in women's Sanda 52kg event after defeating Kamalova Mubarak of Uzbekistan. The Indian won her round of 16 contest in a 'win by round' verdict as she also won 2-0.
Sanathoi now faces Amgalanjargal Sangidorj of Mongolia in the quarterfinals on Monday.
In men's Sanda 65kg event, M Bimoljit Singh lost his round of 16 match against Salaheddin Bayramov of Turkmenistan in a knock-out verdict. The Indian won the first round of the contest but had to face a knock out blow in the second to make an exit from the competition.

In men's Sanda 56kg, Kumar Santosh lost his round of 16 contest against Railin Rizaidin of Kazakhstan. The Indian won the first round but lost the next two to concede the contest.
Wangkhem Sandhyarani Devi also lost tamely her Sanda 60kg round of 16 contest against Thi Ly Tan of Vietnam in a 'win by round' verdict.
In men's Changquan final, Anjul Namdeo finished ninth with a score of 9.03.
