Two inmates flee from open jail of Srigangangar

Two inamtes have fled from the open jail in Sriganganagar's Jawahar Nagar area, police said today.
Inmates Kalu Khan and Lalchand Meghwal did not return to open jail when the attendance was taken by the authorities yesterday, the police said.
The case was registered against them with the Jawhar Nagar police station, they said.
Kalu was brought to open jail in July 2012 after he was convicted for life imprisonment in a murder case of March 2005, while Lalchand facing lifer was also brought to the open jail in September 2012.
