"Just a few hours before the devastating earthquake struck Nepal our sons called us to inform us that they were doing well, but since the news of the earthquake came we have no information about their whereabouts," said Riki Ram whose two sons Parkash (24) and Bharat (27) are missing after the earthquake.
While Paraksh was studying in Kathmandu his elder brother Bharat was working at a local restaurant in the Himalayan kingdom.
The parents of the missing men say that the past two days have been worst for the family back home in Jammu as they have been spending sleepless nights in the hope that their children would have survived the devastation.
"We have been praying day in and day out that our sons must be fine. We pray that nothing must have happened to them," Padma Devi mother of the two missing men said.

The parents say that they have been running from pillar to post to get some help so as to locate the whereabouts of their sons but so far help has not come from any quarters.
Parveen who lives in the same locality say that the people of the entire locality have expressed their solidarity with the family and have joined them in praying for the safety of their missing sons.
They have appealed to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, union minister Dr Jitendra Singh and Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed to intervene and help trace their missing sons.
