Two kg of opium seized

Mizoram police seized two kg of opium here and two persons, including Myanmarese national was arrested in connection with it, police said today.
The opium was seized last night and a Myanmarese and a Tripura resident were arrested.
The two accused were charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
