The accident occurred this afternoon near Takoli village in Tehri district when the bus was on its way from Lambgaon to Srinagar in Pauri district, Kirtinagar police station authorities said.
Two persons were killed on the spot whereas 15 who sustained injuries were rescued.
The injured have been admitted to the nearby Shrikot hospital where the condition of five continues to be serious, they said, adding the reasons behind the accident are being looked into.
