Two killed as jeep falls into river

Two women of a family were killed died and a driver was injured when a jeep in which they were travelling fell into Wakan river in neighbouring Raigadh district, police said today.
The jeep was proceeding to Dombivili from Deogadh was crossing the Wakan bridge, when the driver lost control and the vehicle plunged into the river yesterday, they said.
The women --Suchita Srikant Lalit (50) and Sakshi Balkrishna Kulkarni (50)-- were killed on the spot. The driver was admitted to a local hospital.
