Ashok Gurjar (35) and Dwarika Singh (52) were returning to Sarayakapura village when a lorry hit them from behind, killing them on the spot, Civil Lines police station's inspector Yogendra Jadon said.
Lorry driver and his assistant fled from the spot leaving behind the vehicle. Search was on for the driver.
