Two killed as vehicle falls into 30-m deep gorge

Two people were killed and nine others injured today when their vehicle fell into a gorge, about 70 km from here, the police said.
The accident took place at Gaul this evening when they were going from Barkot to Kursil village. The vehicle fell into a 30-metre deep gorge, Sub-inspector Ravi Prasad Kavi said.
Atola Devi (80) and 50-year-old Dalbir Singh died on the spot while nine others were injured, he said.
The injured were rushed to a community health centre in Barkot, he said.
Overloading seems to have caused the accident, the official said.
