Two killed, eight hurt as van hits truck

Two persons were killed and eight others were injured when their mini van rammed into a stationary truck near Bhogapauram village in vizianagaram district today, police said.
The mishap occurred apparently after the driver of the van, carrying at least ten persons, lost his control over the vehicle which was headed towards Srikakulam, said Inspector A S Chakravarthi of Bhogapuram police station.
The deceased are identified as A Malleswari (38) and P. Manmadha Rao (45).
The injured were admitted to King Geroge Hospital in the city and their condition is stated to be stable, he said.
