Two killed, five injured in road accident

At least two people were killed and five others were injured when a speeding lorry rammed into a few cars and bikes near Tondupalli Vadda area here tonight, leading to a massive traffic jam, police said.
The lorry was on its way to Bangalore, when it's driver lost control and hit cars and two-wheelers coming from the opposite direction at around 10 pm, ACP, Shamshabad Division said.
After the accident, some locals took to the streets and held protests, even as traffic came to a grinding halt.
The police is busy in clearing he traffic. Further investigations are on, police said.
