Two killed in bus-lorry collision in Coimbatore district

Two persons were killed, when the bus they were travelling in collided head on with a maida-laden lorry near Sulur on the city outskirts today, police said.
The incident occurred at Palathural around 5.30 AM when the private bus proceeding to Kochi from Chennai rammed into the lorry coming in the opposite direction, they said.
The dead have been identified as Khaja Bashir (41), driver of the bus and Rajkumar (21), the cleaner, police said adding a case has been registered and investigation is on.
