In the first incident, Mintu Ali died on the spot after being knocked down by the New Delhi-bound Rajdhani Express near Kendukana railway station this morning.
Police said Ali was killed when he was trying to cross the railway line.
In another incident this afternoon, a bike rider Babul Kalita was killed on the spot when his motorcycle hit the divider at National Highway 31 at Kamalpur.
Another person, riding pillion, was injured and has been admitted to the Guwahati Medical College in serious condition.
