Two killed in Odisha's Ganjam district

Two persons were killed at two separate places in Kodala police station limit in Odisha's Ganjam district, police said today.
The deceased were identified as Abhimanyu Biswal (55) of Beruanbadi and Bahadur Swain (55) of Khajapalli.
While police recovered the body of Swain from Salabana on Mathasarasingi-Sidheswara Road in a pool of blood yesterday, Biswal was attacked by a group and he died on way to Kodala hospital yesterday, police said.
Previous enmity was the cause of the murder of Swain, while family dispute was stated to be the reason behind killing of Biswal, said Inspector In-Charge of Kodala police station, Kalpana Kaunri.

Police detained one person in connection with the murder of Swain, she said.
The accused persons involved in Biswal's murder are known and search was on to nab them, she added.
