Police said the lorry driver swerved his vehicle to avoid hitting the motorcylist with his son riding pillion,who cut in suddenly from the service lane. But he lost control and the lorry hit the bike and another bus on the adjacent lane.
The lorry driver and the motorcylist died on the spot, while six persons, including the biker's son, were injured.
All the injured have been hospitalised.
