Two loot cash, cheque worth Rs 2 lakh from post office clerk

Two persons allegedly today looted cheques and cash worth over two lakh from a clerk in a post office in Vikas Bazar area locality, falling under Kotwali police station, in the city, police said.
"The two snatched the bag at the gun point from post office clerk Bijendra Singh from inside the post office, when he was going to resume his duty. Earlier, they had also tied a safai karmachari," they said.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Chakrapani Tripathi said that the case appears doubtful.
"However, nothing can be said unless interrogation is complete. Both the employee are being interrogated in Kotwali," Tripathi stated.
