Two Maoists held with arms and ammunition

Two Maoist operatives were arrested with arms and ammunition from Janumpidi under Murhu police station in Khunti district today, the police said.
The arrest was made during a joint search operation of the District Armed Police and Para-military forces in the Naxal-affected pockets of the district, said district Superintendent of Police Anish Gupta said.
The arrested Maoists were identified as Laxman Munda alias Birsa Munda and Jura Munda, he said adding one country-made rifle, 12 live cartridges, two motorcycles and a mobile phone were recovered from them.
