Two men held with gold worth about Rs 1 cr at airport

Two men have been arrested at the international airport here for allegedly trying to smuggle into the country gold bars valuing about Rs one crore.
The accused were intercepted by customs officials after their arrival here yesterday.
"They were carrying four gold bars, each weighing a kilogramme," a customs official said.
The gold bars, totally weighing four kilogrammes, valued at Rs 1.01 crore, he said.
Both the accused were arrested and the gold bars were seized, the official added.
