Two minors killed, three injured after being electrocuted

Two minors were killed and three others injured when they were electrocuted while carrying electric chandeliers on their heads in a marriage procession.
The incident took place yesterday in Morta village under Murad Nagar police station when the five boys carrying the chandeliers on their heads, as part of a 'baraat procession', came in contact with a naked electric wire, SHO Murad Nagar Subodh Saxena said.
The five were immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital, where Sachin (13) and Nazim (15) were declared brought dead, police said, adding, the injured, Sunder (17), Irfaan (13) and Titu (12) are still under treatment.

The victims all belonged to Arthala village.
Band owner Asgar and Naushad of village Arthala, Sahibabad, have been arrested while a search is underway for the absconding contractor Amit, polcie said.
An FIR has been lodged against three accused under IPC sections 304A (causing death by negligence), 308 (attempt to commit culpable homicide) and relevant sections of Child Labour Act.
