Two more die of cold in UP; cold wave persists

Two persons have died due to cold in different parts of Uttar Pradesh in the past 24 hours as cold wave continued unabated in the state.
One person each in Deoria and Jalaun died due to cold, police said.
According to the MeT department weather remained mainly dry and cold was felt at few places. Etawah recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 4.1 degree Celsius.
Dense to moderate fog enveloped many places in the state.
MeT department has forecast rain and thundershowers at many places over the state.
