Two persons held for online fraud

Two persons have been arrested by CB-CID wing of police for allegedly collecting credit card details of a customer and making an online purchase.
Acting on a complaint from the victim hailing from Chennai, CB-CID sleuths tracked down and arrested S Deepak Kumar (25), who is a manager in a New Delhi-based company.
He had allegedly collected the details, including pin number, of the victim and had made online purchase of Rs 7,995, a CB-CID release said.
On being questioned, police claimed Kumar confessed that he had collected evidence from banks, payment gateway and mobile service providers and was working under Sukesh Anthwal (31), who is the director of the company.
Anthwal was arrested in Rajasthan recently by the team and was later brought here and remanded to judicial custody after obtaining orders from Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bharatpur district, Rajasthan.
