Two persons killed, 24 injured in a road accident

Two persons were killed and 24 others injured, three of them seriously, when a mini bus overturned on NH 30 near Kavra Mathia village under Jagdishpur police station of Bihar's Bhojpur district today.
Jagdishpur SHO Dhananjay Kumar said the incident occurred when the mini bus, which was on its way to Ara from Jagdishpur, lost control and overturned on NH 30 near Kavra Mathia village killing two passengers on the spot and left 24 others injured.
Of the two deceased, one has been identified as Jai Kumar (25), while the identity of the other person could not be ascertained, the SHO said.

Out of the 24 injured persons, three persons have been admitted to Ara sadar hospital, while the remaining were being treated at a near by private clinic, Kumar said.
The police have seized the mini bus while its driver and cleaner managed to escape from the spot, he said adding the bodies have been sent to sadar hospital for post mortem.
