The victims identified as Raghunath Hansda and Kolapati Besra, a ward member of Kolebira, were heading for Chandil from Manikui on a motorcycle when a speeding Sumo dashed them from behind, police said.
The injured duo were immediately rushed to M G M hospital here but both of them succumbed to their injuries on way, sources said.
The driver of the Sumo managed to escape the scene following the incident. PTI BS
