Two police constables found dead

Two police constables, who were allegedly in a live-in-relationship, were found hanging in a rented accommodation here, police said today.
A suicide note was recovered from the spot last night in which the deceased Akhilesh Singh Yadav and Kanchan Singh have held themselves responsible, SSP Ajay Mishra said.
Both of them were found hanging with the same cloth tied to the ceiling fan. The suicide note had Kanchan's signature but it was recovered from Akhilesh's pocket, Mishra said.
While Akhilesh, whose father is himself a police constable currently in service, was posted in Police Lines, Kanchan was deputed there after training. The two were staying in the accommodation since the past two months, he said.

Their postmortem will be videographed.
According to police sources, the two had been missing since a week. A report was lodged against Kanchan in Chetganj Police Station, where Akhilesh was deputed earlier.
Akhilesh was also reported missing with arms. His family had fixed up his marriage and Kanchan's parents were against this relationship, the sources added.
