Vuyyuri Ranga Babu, an attender (outsourcing) at Finance Department, Telangana Secretariat and Nidumolu Sharath Chandra, a personal assistant also on (contract basis) to the Advisor to Finance Department in AP Secretariat were arrested yesterday.
Police recovered Rs four lakh in cash, one CPU and office stamps from Finance Department in AP Secretariat and one stamp of 'Section Officer' from Finance Department office of Telangana Secretariat from both the accused, they said.
Two cases have been registered at Central Crime Station (CCS), on the allegations of cheating jobless youths by collecting huge money and giving them fake appointment orders.
Accused Ranga Babu and Sarath Chandra conspired with several other accused, who acted as their agents and lured jobless youths promising them employment in Secretariats and collected huge amounts from them, police said.

The victims were issued fake employment orders in Finance, IT and Planning Departments in Secretariats of Telangana and AP.
The accused also maintained an attendance register for these victims in Secretariat and obtained their signatures.
Sometimes they arranged Rs 5,500 to 6,000 per month to few candidates by hand and through bank accounts to give them an impression that they were working in Secretariats, a release from City Police said.
