A local court today remanded Sikander, key accused in gruesome murder case of a woman and her two daughters in the city, and another accomplice to 14 day police custody.
The court also referred the matter of two other accused in the case, who are minor, to a juvenile court on account of their underage status.
Four persons were arrested in the sensational murder case in which Pushpa Singh, a widow, and her two teenage daughters were murdered in cold blood and their bodies were buried under the floor of an abandoned shop in the city's Ekbalpore area.
Sikandar and his three accomplices have already confessed to the crime during interrogation by the police.
The victims, who had been missing since March 29, were the tenants in an apartment owned by Sikandar under a selami agreement.
