Two run over by train at Mundka
Press Trust of India New Delhi In a tragic incident, a 22-year- old woman and a 19-year-old man were crushed to death by a train while they were attempting to avoid getting hit by another one in outer Delhi's Mundka today, the police said.
Alisha (22) and Aman Malik (19) were walking on the railway tracks when they saw a goods train coming towards them.
To avoid getting hit by it, they jumped onto the adjacent tracks, but were crushed by another train which they had not seen coming, the police said.
The two were killed on the spot, the police said, while ruling out the possibility of them suicide.
Alisha was a resident of Trinagar, while Aman stayed in outer Delhi's Karala. The two were friends, the police said.
