Two school students in Kerala lose life on opening day

Tragedy marred the school re-opening day in Kerala today, with two students losing their life in separate incidents in the state.
A five year old girl, who was on her way to school in Kozhikode district along with other children, was killed when her autorickshaw turned turtle after colliding with a motorbike in the morning.
In another incident, an eighth standard student of a school in Kollam district was killed when a stone pillar of the school fell on him, police said.
The boy had taken admission in the new school and today was his first day.
The boy, was standing near the pillar after the lunch break, when it fell on his head, killing him on the spot.
It had been raining in the area since morning.
