Two smugglers held, 200 cartons of liqour seized

Two liquor smugglers were today arrested and 200 cartons of smuggled liquor seized from them near Okhla barrage area here, excise officials said.
Excise Department officials intercepted a truck at Kalindi Kunj check post near Okhla barrage area and seized 200 cartons of liquor which was being smuggled from Haryana, District Excise Officer Ram Ujagir Maurya said.
Two smugglers, Prem Singh and Vinod have been arrested, he said, adding, FIR under Excise Act has been registered against the duo and truck owner Jafar.
