According to the Q branch police Inspector Kennedy, Sybu and Kavitha both aged 28 had arrived from Erukalampatti in Sri Lanka this morning. They had come by an illegal ferry and the ferry had gone back leaving them at Mullimunai.
They had paid Rs 40,000 for their trip to India.
The reason for the arrival of the two was not known immediately.
