The deceased have been identified as Amit and Rohit of Jakhoda village here and were the students of 11th standard in Government Senior Secondary School at Bahadurgarh town, police said here.
The mishap took place this morning when they were as usual walking along the railway track using the shortcut to reach Aasudha railway station to catch a train for Bahadurgarh.
As they reached near the railway station, the Gaurakh Dham Express crushed them. Both students died on the spot, police official said.
The Railway police officials on getting information rushed to the spot and sent the bodies to civil hospital for postmortem examination after taking stock of the situation.
Earlier, kin of the deceased were called on the spot for their identification.
