Two teenagers drown in Lower Manair Dam reservoir

Two teenagers drowned today in Lower Manair Dam reservoir on the outskirts of Karimnagar town, police said.
"Seven boys went to Lower Manair dam reservoir to take a bath this morning. While bathing, two boys drowned in the reservoir at about 8 AM, while five could come out," Karimnagar Rural Circle Inspector G Krishna Goud said.
Later, their bodies were fished out.
The deceased were identified as B Sai Varun (16) and S Sunand (16). They were both residents of Karimnagar town and studied in class XII, he said.
The bodies were later shifted to district headquarters hospital here for postmortem, Goud added.
