The fight has reached the Director General of Police Y P Singhal who said the entire matter will be probed by a senior officer.
Arora has levelled various serious charges against Virk, accusing him of slapping different charges against a family to "falsely implicate" them in a rape case. She has demanded a CBI probe into the matter.
She has claimed that the woman, who has filed the case, had filed three other rape cases on previous occasions also.
In her letter sent to the DGP, Arora has alleged that Virk was mentally torturing her over the inquiry and supervision of files in the rape case.

Reacting to this, Virk said, "These allegations are wrong... What can I say if someone is saying something?"
He said both the officers have written to the DGP to inquire and take action. "These are official matters. Our department is dealing with it," he added.
In Panchkula, the state police chief said he has received separate communications from the two officers pertaining to the case and added that the entire matter will be probed by a senior officer.
