Sanno Korram and Ramoli Korram (both 25), allegedly belonging to cultural wing of the outlawed CPI (Maoist), wanted to join the mainstream as they were disillusioned with the Maoist ideology, said a senior police officer.
"The cadres turned themselves in citing disappointment with the hollow Maoist ideology and their wrong policies," Narayanpur Superintendent of Police Abhishek Meena told PTI.
The two, natives of Permapal village under Dhaudai police station area of the district, were active members of Chetna Natya Manch (CNM), the cultural wing of Maoists, he said.
Meena said the duo will be provided assistance as per the rehabilitation policy of the state Government, he said.
