Two women tonsured and paraded in Jamtara

Two women were tonsured and paraded for allegedly fighting back molestation attempts by four men in Jamtara district, the police said here today.
In an FIR lodged at Jamtara police station, the victims have accused the four of tonsuring, putting garland of shoes and then parading them in Dongalpara village, Superintendent of Police Nagendra Choudhary said.
Three persons have been named in the FIR, while the fourth is yet to be identified, he said adding that the police was on a trace for the accused.
