Two-year-old American kills father with gunshot on head

A two-year-old boy has allegedly killed his father by shooting him on his head with a gun in the US state of Alabama, media reported today.
A family member found the 31-year-old man, who was yet to be identified, unresponsive when she came home to their house in Birmingham suburb's Hoover town, according to police.
The woman told police he had been accidentally shot, Capt Gregg Rector of the Hoover Police Department was quoted as saying by AL.Com.
The deceased was declared dead from the gunshot wound to the head by paramedics yesterday.
Investigators believe the victim's two-year-old son may have accidentally fired a gun at his gather.

Sleuths have not found any evidence that a third person was in the apartment with the father and son, but they are still examining other possible scenarios, police said.
