A two-year-old boy was kidnapped here, following which a case against unidentified persons has been registered.
According to a complaint filed by the minor's father, identified as Mohd Hasnath, he received a ransom call two days ago, saying his son had been kidnapped and that he will have to pay Rs two lakh if he wants to see him alive, police said.
The father, who is a labourer and was in Delhi for some work, called at his residence here to enquire about his son when he came to know that he was missing, police said.
A search operation for the missing boy and the accused has been started, they added.
