Two youths held with drugs, narcotic items in J-K

Two youths were today arrested and drugs and narcotic items were recovered from their possession in Jammu city, police said.
During a routine security check at Sanjay Nagar Chowk in the city under Gandhi Nagar Police Station, two motorcycle- borne commuters were asked to stop, but on seeing the police, they allegedly tried to run away, a police officer said.
They were later chased and caught by the police party. 20 grams of heroin, 15 correx bottes and 382 capsules were recoverd fromthe driver, the officer said.
They disclosed their names as Gurvir Singh and Harvinder Singh, the officer said, adding a case has been registered.
