Typewriters that belonged to notable 20th century people are on display in a US university gallery, along with some of what each wrote on them.
Machines once owned by Tennessee Williams, Ernest Hemingway, John Lennon and "Unabomber" Theodore Kaczynski are among those in the Northeastern University exhibit.
The collection includes an excerpt from Williams' play "The Glass Menagerie."
Campus curator Bruce Ployer says the exhibit provides a glimpse into the lives of the typewriters' former owners. The exhibit will be open until September 25.
