U'khand HC order protects spirit of Constitution: Sachin Pilot

PCC President Sachin pilot today welcomed the Uttarakhand High Court's decision to quash imposition of President's rule in Uttarakhand and for ordering floor test in the Assembly, saying the court has protected the spirit of the Constitution.
"The central government acted against the spirit of democracy by putting Uttarakhand under President's rule on March 27. The move was politically motivated but the high court protected the Constitution by its order," Pilot said.
He alleged that BJP-ruled central government was trying to destabilise governments in Congress-ruled states.
