U'Khand to provide free land to schools for differently-abled

The state government today announced it will provide free land for building schools for differently-abled children.
Chief Minister Harish Rawat today made an announcements to this effect and also said five per cent of residences built under the Atal Awas Yojana will be reserved for perssons with disability.
On the ocassion of International Day for Persosn with Disability today Rawat also said a certain percentage of funds allocated to municipalities will be reserved for women and the physically-challenged persons.
Today is the day to take pledge to fight the causes of physical disabilities and make persons with disabilities self-reliant, he said.
