The matter was mentioned before a bench headed by Chief Justice H L Dattu by Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi.
The bench agreed to hear the matter on March 24 along with a similar petition filed by the victim against the high court's March 4 order.
The Delhi Police has sought dismissal of the high court order on the ground that it would further cause harassment to the victim.
The court had also stayed the trial court proceedings and restrained the media from reporting statements of witnesses which have been recorded after the high court's order.

The victim, in her appeal, said that the high court order amounts to re-trial of the case.
On March 4, the Delhi High Court had allowed recall of 13 prosecution witnesses, including the victim in Uber cab rape case, on the plea of the accused driver and said their cross examination will be carried out on a day-to-day basis.
