The company had posted a consolidated profit of Rs 41.18 crore in the same period of previous fiscal, Uflex said in a statement.
The company's consolidated net sales increased to Rs 1,376.87 crore in the January-March 2014 quarter compared to Rs 1,171.52 crore in the same period a year ago.
"Our continued commitment towards innovation and adding value to clients' businesses, which enables them to delight their customers with bouquet of packaging solutions and adhering to time sensitive operational practices has ensured strong relationships," said Uflex Chairman and Managing Director Ashok Chaturvedi.
Consolidated net sales in 2013-14 were at Rs 5,603.34 crore as compared to Rs 4,956.43 crore in 2012-13.
The Board has also recommended a dividend of 25 per cent for the FY'2014.
Shares of Uflex today closed at Rs 103.40 per scrip on the BSE, up 1.22 per cent from their previous close.
