Mishra, UJVN's director (operation), was conferred with the award in a function held recently.
The Uttarakhand Ratna is being given to one person every year for his contribution in different fields especially in social sector by All India Conference of Intellectuals, a social organisation.
"I am really thankful that I have been chosen for Uttarakhand Ratna this year," said Mishra, in a statement here.
