"In fact development is not taking place in Uttarakhand as the state government is not able to spend the funds allocated by the Centre.
All the talk about Centre's non-cooperation and non-allocation of fundsis a canard spread by the state government to cover up its own failures," Gehlot said addressing party workers at the BJP office here.
Asking them to brace up well in advance for the 2017 Assembly polls in Uttarakhand, Gehlot said they should go to people in remote hilly areas and acquaint them with the steps taken by the Centre for their welfare.
