: uLektz, a software as a service based educational start-up, Thursday said it has unveiled a skill development programme on emerging technologies aimed at training one lakh faculties and higher education students across the country based on industry needs.
It has been launched recently in collaboration with the National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh, Ministry of Human Resource development.
The initiative would train one lakh faculties and higher education students across the country on industry required latest skills, a company statement said here.
The academic programmes would meet the demands of the industry and keep pace with global advancements in the country.
The online skill courses of NITTTR and uLektz was launched recently by the National Company Law Tribunal Technical Member, Laxmi Narayan Gupta in the presence of NITI Ayog, Member-India Russia Bilateral Council, Ashwani Johar among others.
uLektz was constantly looking to develop skill sets for the student and lecturers community and also looking for investors to come forward and help in improving the quality of education.

"The partnership with NITTTR Chandigarh is the next step taken by uLektz to provide quality education to help student's community and facultires", uLektz Founder-CEO, Sadiq Sait M S said.
"This partnership will enable us to offer our lakhs of registered students and teachers with the online skill courses in emerging areas that are certified by NITTTR Chandigarh, Ministry of Human Resource Develpment", he said.
NITTTR Chandigarh, Director, S S Pattnaik said, "with the launch of these online skill courses in partnership with uLektz, we aim to train 100,000 teachers and students of higher education".
The tie-up between uLektz and NITTTR would help students who wish to learn emerging new trends in the industry, the release added.
